I just finished posting the pictures of our baby girl. As 2008 draws to a close I am thinking of how thankful I am that this miracle of life is happening to us. We have wanted this baby for so long and I thank each of you for keeping us in your prayers and helping make our dreams a reality!!

Well It's Official!!

We are having a baby girl!! Sean and I had our 19 week appointment today with the "big" ultrasound. Everything looks great - the baby weighs about 8 oz. and is in the 50% or above in growth in all areas. The ultrasound was not able to see the heart or the nose and lips so we will go back in 1 month and get another one! YEA!!! I love ultrasounds. The baby's heart rate was 150 BPM which is great!!

Our 12 Week Appointment

Hi everyone!! I wish I had anew picture to post but we did not get one at our 12 week appointment. At the appointment the Doctor checked for a heartbeat on top of my skin and could not find it so we were able to get another ultrasound. (Yeah!!) It was a portable ultrasound machine and it had no paper so we could not get a print out. We did get to see our baby though and it was amazing. While they were doing the ultrasound the baby moved around which made Sean gasp. It was incredible. The doctor recorded the heartbeat at 140 beats per minute and said all is well. I got a flu shot to make sure I do not get sick!!

Our next checkup is in December for our 4 month. I inquired when we would be able to tell the sex of the baby and that will not be until 20 weeks (around Dec. 31st). Sean and I are going to find out the sex ahead of time so we can get everything just right in the baby's room!!

2nd Ultrasound at 8 weeks

Here is our second Ultrasound picture. I had to go back to the doctor 1 week after our first ultrasound to check baby's heartbeat. In our first visit, baby's heartbeat was 117 and our doctor wanted it to be above 120 so we came back a week later. I am happy to report that at the second visit, baby's heartbeat was a strong 148! Our next appointment is the first week of November. I will post another update after that visit. If you are wondering how to view the picture above - the head is on the left side over to the rest of the body towards the right. (Even though it looks like the round thing on the right would be the head!)

Here is our very first Ultrasound. It was taken at about 7 weeks. It is a little hard to see because it is a picture of the ultrasound as I can't get the scanner to work!

This is Baby Bear. He is now about 3 months older and about 40 lbs heavier! We should have named him Tank!

And Baby Will Make 7!!

If you haven't heard the news, Sean and I are expecting our first child. We are only 8 weeks along so far so we have a ways to go!! Our official Due Date is May 20, 2009. (This is also our nephew's birthday so that would be neat!) Sean and I have tried for about 1.5 years to get pregnant so we feel so blessed! We are taking it all in one day at a time as it is definitely a new experience. We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for the development of our baby! Most of all we are excited to be first time parents!!

Hello! This is our first time having a spot for all our friends and family to visit us! For those of you who do not know us - We are the Notareschi's!! Our family currently has 6 members, only 2 on 2 legs. We have 3 black labs: Adidas, Bear, and Dr. Boogie. We also have a cat: Peaches. And of course that leaves Sean and me (Christy). We will do our best to post pictures here for you to view so we can keep in touch!! We love all of you and wish we could be together more! '
